My evolution module as a workshop for biology teachers

Toen werd ik ineens gespot in de programmakrant van VO 2021, van de FEIT/FICTIE NIBI conferentie!

Momenteel ben ik vanuit het Wielstra lab samen met Naturalis Biodiversity Center een online module aan het opzetten voor het Natuurlab. De bedoeling is om complexe materie over evolutie, zoals voordelige en nadelige mutaties, natuurlijke selectie, en recombinatie, op een leuke manier toegankelijk te maken voor scholieren via digitale tools. En dat aan de hand van voorbeelden uit mijn promotieonderzoek!

De module wordt behandeld tijdens een workshop bij het aankomende congres. Ik hoop zo steun te kunnen bieden aan leraren, met inspiratie voor in biologie lessen. En natuurlijk steun voor leerlingen, die deze module gemakkelijk kunnen volgen op de website van Naturalis als ze geïnteresseerd zijn in evolutie en DNA.
