"Normally you are unable to see DNA with the naked eye, because it is so small! You can actually only see it during one moment in time: when you're working as a researcher in a laboratory. I really thought that was a shame: more people should see it! So, using my artistic side I came up with a method to 'capture' that fleeting moment. Now, especially for you, I can eternalize that small, DNA cloud in my home studio. So you can hold it dearly, in a unique DNA necklace for instance."
It's all in the little things!

It's all in the little things!
From my home studio, I create handmade jewelry, and a unique way to personalize it is by incorporating
real DNA. I call this a DNA keepsake, crafted using a special method I developed thanks to my laboratory skills.
A DNA keepsake makes for a perfect personalized gift, whether it’s made with your own DNA, that of a pet, or even your (or someone else's?) favorite flowers!

DNA keepsakes
As a geneticist, I naturally find DNA very special: it makes all life unique, but at the same time also related.
I make DNA, which is normally not visible to the naked eye, visible to you and incorporate it into a piece of jewelry or other ornament. This way you have a unique keepsake of your pet or a loved one. Who wouldn't want that?!

Disclaimer
As a zoologist, I naturally care about biodiversity, the natural environment and a healthy environment. I try to be as environmentally friendly as I can to keep Wild DNA's ecological footprint as low as possible. For example by...
- ... first of all, working as a science communicator to share my knowledge with a broad audience,
- ... giving presentations & training online where possible/desirable, instead of traveling to distant places,
- ... working with a 're-use-scraps' policy when it comes to the polymer (=plastic) clay that I use,
- ... using better / eco-friendly packaging (without bubble wrap, for example),
- ... informing buyers on how they can best store the products, so that they can be sustainably kept to endure,
- ... informing buyers about how best to throw away, reuse, or donate their products.
